Co-writer Kathlena Luft
Kathlena ("Kat") is a songwriter
and published poet who has become a very inspiring and productive co-writer of mine. Our songwriting sessions have quickly
produced songs which I'm very proud of. Kat is a versatile lyricyst who seems to have a bottomless well of ideas to draw
from. Her ability to bridge the gap between poetry and lyric writing is amazing. Kat is a current member
of the Nashville Songwriter's Association, and has attended songwriter workshops with some of the best writers in the
industry. I'm very excited about the songs we're writing, and I'm looking foward to showcasing some
of them on this site.
Kat and I have decided not to limit our songwriting to the Country music genre. You can expect
just about anything from this collaboration. Our goal is to create a catalog of songs that can be pitched to a variety of
artists, and also to the film industry. We also plan to do Indie releases with some of the songs that we're currently
recording. Although our focus is to pitch songs to more established artists and publishers, we also realize
that there's a booming worldwide market for digital downloads that's very accessible to artists with marketable indie recordings.
We're working hard to have some songs available for digital download soon.
