"John's Music Pages"
The links below will direct you to the music of your choice.
I'm doing my best to separate the different styles so that you can go directly to the types of music you like best. Because
of the growing problem with copyright infringement issues and piracy I've been reluctant to feature my more recent finished
masters on this site. With the exception of copyrighted released songs like "Livin the Life", most of what I have
on here now are work demos that give you a basic idea of my style and diversity. If you are looking for music to license or
publish, then please email me and I'll provide you with samples (masters) of my more recent work. In a perfect world we don't
have to worry about these things, but I put a lot of time into my productions and have to try to make a living at this. Thank
you so much for listening, and please stop by again soon!
John

To Publishers and Record Labels:
The music I've included on this site is just a very small sample of my work. I have
many songs/compositions in my catalog, and can provide demos at your request. I also have a catalog of co-written
material available as well. I always have new music in production, so if you'd like to be notified when this is available,
please contact me and I'll add you to my mailing list. Please call at (615)717-1397 or email me at johnpdurant@hotmail.com and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you,
John Durant
Interested in co-writing?
I'm
pretty well booked up with co-writing sessions at this time, but I'll consider new co-writing opportunities
if I feel that a collaboration may have extraordinary potential. I prefer to work with folks who are very
serious about their songwriting craft, and who have an exceptional amount of talent, creativity, and determination to produce great
songs.
I prefer to write both music and lyrics at the same time, and usually produce the demo (full
production/arrangement) during the songwriting sessions. Most of my projects will be pitched to publishers/labels, but
in some cases, the songs can be released independently as singles if we decide to take that route.
Need a demo recorded?
If you're just in need of a
producer/studio to help you put a demo together for a song you've already completed, please send me an mp3 of the
copyrighted song and I'll evaluate it for a possible demo production. We can discuss the project details if
I decide to take on the project.
Please contact me at 615-717-1397 if
you're interested in co-writing or if you need a demo produced.
Thank you,
John
