Featured Artists

I added this "Featured Artists" page to lend support to some very talented Indie artists and friends. I think the Indie community as a whole can help each other out by providing "Featured Artist" pages on their own websites. This is very easy to do, and it can really help online "street teams" gain some traction and get Indie artists some much-needed publicity, and maybe even boost their record sales.

I believe that by providing these links to sites like OurStage, ReverbNation, MySpace Music, Indie Charts, and other online promotional sites, it'll not only help the featured artists shown here, but it'll also help other Indie artists by drawing new fans to these sites. I don't worry about competition because people will buy the music they like, and if they don't like mine, at least they can give other Indie artists some support.

This kind of networking can be very powerful if artists realize that by helping other artists they can actually help themselves by creating new friends and contacts all over the world. If you're an artist who would like to be featured on this page, just go to my forum and paste your music player HTML in a message. I'll copy it from there. You can also tell me a little bit about yourself and I can add some brief text next to your player.

Please browse through and take a listen to some of these artists, and if you like what you hear, click on their link to join their fan club, purchase their music, or become part of their "street teams".You can also leave comments in my forum under the "Music Biz" category, or talk to your friends about these tunes in my chat room. Indie artists really need your support so they can continue to record great new music, so please buy their digital downloads or CD's if you can afford it. I know they would greatly appreciate it!
