Seriously?Like most Americans, I've been watching the Donald Trump circus, and it makes me wonder what the hell is going on in this
country that could bring such a flawed candidate to to forefront of our presidential race. I think the answer is that flawed
candidates inspire flawed followers, and that what we're seeing is the sludge from the bottom of the social and intellectual
barrel in this country rising up to claim their fifteen minutes of fame. For the moment, they seem to have a disproportionately
loud voice above more moderate voices of reason on our political right, drowning out anyone who might challenge their extremely
warped alternate reality. First of all, this isn't a reality television show; it's a campaign for the top position in
our country that can impact everyone on this planet. It can't be enough just to toss a series of Molatov Coctails around the
political landscape to placate bigots and assorted wing nuts. You need real solutions to real problems, not just some QVC
style sales pitch to hit all the right buttons of the most ignorant and hateful constituents in this country. i
hope the more qualified candidates on the right will have enough support and resources to seriously challenge this snake oil
salesman. A candidate like Donald Trump can't be allowed to push out qualified challengers in this Republican primary. It's
time for serious citizens who vote Republican to stand up and be heard so that this ass clown doesn't continue to dominate
the republican field.
